New Zealand Ambassador visits University of Tehran
John Laxon , Education Counselor based on Riyadh and Eamonn O'Shaughnessy, New Zealand Ambassador to Tehran met with Eskandari, Director General for Office of International and Akhondzadeh Basti, Director General for International Students, University of Tehran on the 1st of June, 2015.
Referring to academic reputation of University of Tehran graduates, John Laxon expressed hope for the expansion of mutual academic cooperation between University of Tehran and universities in New Zealand.
Also in this meeting, Eamonn O'Shaughnessy, the New Zealand ambassador expressed his support to the academic program of cooperation.
Taking into consideration the previous collaboration and the program of the visit of University of Tehran professors to New Zealand, Eskandari and Akhoondzadeh Basti, the two directors general emphasized on the necessity of establishing similar programs.
