The Fifth International Day Festival
The Exhibition of Foreign Countries and International Students' Academic and Cultural Achievements and The Fifth International Day Festival were held at University of Tehran.
The exhibition with the participation of foreign students in association with the cultural section of foreign embassies in Tehran started on the 31st of May, 2015 and lasted for 3 days. The exhibition was received warmly by Iranian and foreign visitors.
On the 2nd of June at 15-18 hrs. , the main event was held in the presence of foreign students, professors, officials, ambassadors and cultural attaches to Iran. The program included cultural and musical performance, awarding plaque of appreciation to top figures, winners of sport competitions, awarding prizes to foreign students and professors with international achievements, presentation of lecture by an eminent professor and the ambassador of Afghanistan to Iran. The motto of the exhibition and the festival was University and Cultural Diversity.
The mentioned exhibition and festival are held annually concurrent with the anniversary of the establishment law of the University of Tehran by the then parliament.
