Chinese Cultural Attaché meets with UT Vice President for International Affairs

On 9 June, 2021, Mr. Zhu Zhao, Cultural Attaché of China to Islamic Republic of Iran met with Prof. Mohammad Hossein Sarrafzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran. In this meeting both sides exchanged ideas on the following topics:

• Reviewing the previous collaboration between UT and Chinese universities and higher education and research centers  
• Introducing the UT affiliated units which are active in connection with Chinese universities and research institutions
• Students and faculty members mobility programs
• UT and Chinese scholarships
• Presenting a report on the activities of UT Sinology Center (Confucius)
• Promotion of collaboration on teaching Chinese and Persian language courses
• Presenting a report on UT Asia Research Center 
• Joint exchange program on old maps and manuscripts
• Cooperation on the topic of silk road
• Introducing China and Iran through Iranian and Chinese students within the framework of podcast
• Collaboration on Chinese traditional medicine
• Promoting the institutional collaboration
• Organizing the secretariate of top Iranian and Chinese universities
• Working on reinforcing facilities to admit greater number of Chinese students
• Cooperating within the framework of the 50^th anniversary of Iran and China relations
• Holding courses on Chinese language for free applicants
• Holding seminars and conferences on knowing modern China
• Donating Chinese books to UT
• Following up the visit of Peking University president to UT
• Inviting Chinese universities to open an office in UT Knowledge City
