A joint virtual meeting held between UT College of Fine Arts and officials of Uzbekistan

On 16 March, 2021, a virtual meeting was held between Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Vice Minister of Cultural Affairs of Uzbekistan.

Referring to the common historical and cultural ties between the two countries, both sides exchanged ideas on the methods of collaboration on renovation of historical monuments in Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, It was decided to hold specialized workshops for the preservation of historical buildings and the professors of College of Fine Arts help with the renovation projects in Uzbekistan.

Both sides also agreed to sign MoU for academic collaboration after a visit of UT delegation to Uzbekistan and work on the establishment of a joint foundation for working on the renovation of historical monuments.
