A Virtual meeting between Saint Petersburg University and University of Tehran

A virtual meeting was held between Prof. Sergei Andryushin , Vice Rector for International  Affairs at Saint Petersburg University, Russian Federation and Prof. Mohamamd Hossein Sarrafzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran on  1 December, 2020 at 11:45 Moocow Time (12:30 Tehran Time)

The agenda of the meeting was as follows: 

• Greetings and welcome remarks
• Exchange of students
• Exchange of faculty members
• Establishment of joint research fund
• Online educational programs  
• Joint virtual workshops, seminars
• Installation of statues of famous outstanding professors at both universities
• Translation of Russian literary books into Persian and Persian into Russian
• Inservice language training programs for students of Russian language in Saint Petersburg University and vice versa 
•   Dispatching of students and professors of Regional Studies Department, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences to Saint Petersburg and vice versa.
• Following up the project of sending a documentary filmmaker of Saint Peterburg University in collaboration with Hermitage Museum to UT to conduct interviews with professors of Department of History
• Dispatch of students of Department of Russian Studies to spend a part of their research program at Saint Petersburg university
• Encouraging the faculty members to publish joint papers
• Inviting Saint Petersburg University to join Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP)
• Making basic agreement for the future meeting between Prof. Nikolay Kropachev, Rector of Saint Petersburg University and Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran.
