NTU Rankings put UT at No. 1 among Iranian universities and 364th worldwide

The University of Tehran (UT) placed first among Iranian higher education institutions and 364^th worldwide, according to the NTU Rankings. NTU rankings compiled by National Taiwan University, and also known as the “Performance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities.” Known as the HEEACT Ranking from 2007-2010, the ranking program offers annual performance rankings of universities around the world based on their production and impact of scientific papers.

NTU rankings considers universities only and is based exclusively on the analysis of scientific publications. Evaluation of publications and citations does not only cover the past year, but a period of up to 11 years. The basis are publication data of the Web of Science (WoS) and Essential Science Indicators (ESI) (both Clarivate Analytics).
