Nicaraguan Ambassador meets with UT President

On 12 October, 2020, Nicaraguan Ambassador to I.R. of Iran, Isaac Lenin Bravo Jaen paid a visit to University of Tehran and met with Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran. The meeting was held in the presence of the following officials:

-Prof. Mohammad Hossein Sarrafzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, UT

- Prof. Feizolahi, Department of Spanish  Language, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature, UT

-Prof. Haghroosta, Department of Spanish Language , Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literature , UT

- Prof. Zamani, Deputy for Coordination of Offices of the President and Public Relations  

-Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations

- Ms. Farahnaz Ebrahimi, Head of Department of International Cooperation

The main pivots of discussion included the followings:

•  Inviting Prof. Ramona Rodriguez, the Rector of Nicaraguan National Autonomous University (UNAN) to pay a visit to UT
• Holding joint webinars on Iranian studies, Spanish language, agriculture, nano, engineering and any other areas of interest
• Exchange of faculty members and students after overcoming the Covid 19 pandemic
• Holding short term courses on Iranian culture and history
• Holding workshops on Iran politics, culture, economy, etc. virtually
• Putting into effect the contents of the MoU between the UT and UNAN
• Working on programs which help with further knowledge of two nations from each other
• Exchanging good experiences on various fields of study
