UT President places emphasize on researches related to basic sciences and establishment of collaboration network

The President of University of Tehran placed emphasize on the need to conduct researches related to basic sciences and establishing   a network of collaboration among researchers to combat coronavirus.

On the 5^th of  May 2020, Prof. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran, along with the members of the strategic committee of “investigation on  scientific solutions to prevent and combat Covid-19 virus” took part in a meeting with the participation of the  commander of the Corona Disease Control Headquarters in the metropolis of Tehran and a number of professors from Shahid Beheshti University.

In his meeting, he pointed out that: “in order to be committed towards the university social responsibility, University of Tehran has formed substantial collaborating groups with other leading universities of the country to investigate various aspects of the Corona virus pandemic.”

 Emphasizing the importance and the necessity to extend the research networks between the scientists, President Nili Ahmadabadi voiced the readiness of University of Tehran to cooperate with the Corona Headquarters in every possible areas.
