Head of Planning Department of Ministry of Higher Education, The Sultanate of Oman visits UT

Dr Nasser Al Salami, Head of Planning Department at the Directorate General for Planning and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education, The Sultanate of Oman paid a visit to University of Tehran on 4 December, 2019. In the first stage of his visit, Dr. Al Salami met Prof. Mohamamd Bagher Ghahramani, Vice President for International Relations. In the meeting, the other participants included: Prof. Zamani, Deputy to the Office of the President and Public Relations, Prof. Fekri, Head of Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Literature and Humaniteis,  Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations and Prof. Loabat Zebardast, Deputy Director General for Office of International Relations.

Given the long standing academic relations between University of Tehran and some of the universities in Oman, the main topics of discussion in the meeting was exchange of students and professors, educational materials, accreditation of academic degrees, joint educational exhibitions on manuscripts, joint workshops, in-service programs for Arabic and Persian language, joint publications , cooperation with institute of oil.

After this meeting, Dr. Al Slamai visited College of Engineering and met with Prof. Soltani , Dean of the College of Engineering and accompanied by the related professors , visited several laboratories.
