Science and innovation, as complementary forces, play a vital role in improving public health and advancing biotechnology. Strengthening regional collaboration connects local capacities with global knowledge. In this context, scientific diplomacy acts as a bridge for exchanging experiences, enabling technology transfer, and fostering scientific synergy among regional countries.
Today, with the emergence of complex diseases, social and biological stressors, and environmental crises, the demand for collective solutions is greater than ever. Advanced biotechnology, combined with artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, offers powerful tools for data analysis, drug discovery, vaccine development, and the optimization of biological processes. These technologies are transforming how we understand, prevent, and treat diseases, significantly improving quality of life.
By expanding the frontiers of science, we can move beyond what is visible and explore deeper truths through precise scientific inquiry. Scientists, empowered by deep knowledge, resilience, and wisdom, are capable of offering essential solutions to the challenges that we face.
The ECO region, with its cultural harmony, human resources, and scientific capacity, holds strong potential to become a model of collaborative innovation. Realizing this vision requires removing bureaucratic barriers, encouraging joint investment, and establishing transparent platforms for cooperation and exchange.
Simplifying processes, building trust, and using regional institutions can enable scientific integration and innovation which fostering a path toward health, welfare, and sustainable development.
Finally, today at this conference, let us commit to the goal of building and developing our countries through science and innovation, bringing peace and happiness to our people.
