Ambassador of Oman met with Prof. Niili Ahmadabadi, the President of University of Tehran on 17 June , 2014.

In this meeting, the Ambassador congratulated Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi for his appointment as the President of UT. He also thanked UT for warm hospitality extended to the high ranking delegation from Sultan Qabus university who had visited UT last month. Furthermore, he expressed his readiness to support any plan which could strengthen the already established academic ties between the two countries. In this visit, he also donated a souvenir to UT and reciprocally, the logo of UT was donated to him by the President of UT. Both sides strongly emphasized on the necessity of promoting the bilateral ties.
