Cooperation between University of Tehran and University of Bern, Switzerland

On the 2^nd of September, 2021, a virtual meeting was held between University of Tehran and University of Bern, Switzerland. The participants of the meeting were as follows:

Ms.  Marinta Carolus, Head of Exchange Programs & Partnerships at University of Bern

Dr. Ali Sonay: Assistant Lecturer, Institute of Middle Eastern Studies, University of Bern

Dr. Mahmud Bijankhan: Director of Dehkhoda Institute and International Centre for Persian Studies (ICPS)

Dr. des. Elika Palenzona-Djalili, Lecturer in Persian language and literature

Institute for Islamic Studies and Modern Oriental Philology, University of Bern

Abdolmajid Eskandari: Director General, Office of International Affair University of Teheran 

During this meeting both sides exchanged ideas on promotion of bilateral academic cooperation in various fields in particular Persian Language and Literature and student mobility programs. Both sides decided to work on developing a MoU which will serve as a platform for future collaboration.
