A virtual meeting held between UT and UNAN Presidents

On 16 November, 2020, a virtual meeting was held between Prof. Nili Ahmadabadi, President of University of Tehran and Prof. MSc. Ramona Rodríguez Pérez, Rector of UNAN-Managua, Nicaragua.

In this meeting which was held in the presence of Mr. Isaac Lenin Bravo Jaen, the ambassador of Nicaragua to I.R.  of Iran and Mr. Majid Salehi, Chargé d'Affaires, of Iran to Nicaragua, both sides exchanged ideas on the ways of promoting academic collaboration between the two universities.

They also agreed upon in principle to exchange students and professors, to hold joint webinars, joint researches and to implement the contents of the MoU signed between the two universities in 2017. 

Other participants in the meeting were Prof. Sarrafzadeh, Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Zamani, Head of UT President' Office, Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations, and Prof. Haghroosta, Faculty Member of Department of Spanish Language and Department of Latin American Studies.

The main areas of collaboration which was discussed in the meeting include Water, biotechnology, Nanotechnology, human sciences, social science, engineering, Spanish language, Latin American studies. engineering and science and technology park as well.
