Pakistani Press, Culture and Education Counsellor meets with Vice President for International Affairs, University of Tehran

Mr. Birj Lal Dossani, Press, Culture and Education Counsellor of the Embassy of Pakistan visited UT and met with Prof. Ghahramani, Vice President for International Affairs on 8 January, 2020.

In this meeting which was held in the presence of Prof. Ali Bayat , faculty member of the Department of Urdu and Pakistan Studies , Abdolmajid Eskandari, Director General, Office of International Relations, and Ms. Farahnaz Ebrahimi, Expert on International Relations, both sides exchanged ideas on the following issues:

• Further activation of the Department of Urdu and Pakistan Studies
• Introducing qualified professor to teach Urdu language from Pakistan
• Creating further motivation among the Iranian students to pursue studies of Urdu and Pakistan studies
• Establishing dual degree programs
• Using E-learning systems
• Holding joint sport and artistic festivals
• Presence of Pakistani students in the international  degree programs of UT
• Further collaboration on Persian and Urdu languages and studies
